Last orders have been called at this tiny pub on Bride Lane. Time to head home (unless you’re on an overnight photo shoot!)

Being a people person I felt sad for the man who had a long workday – till I read the comments above! Sugarloaf reminds me on a bakery, not a pub:) Thanks a bunch for sharing this with All Seasons. (Hope you know you can always make use of your archives!) Have a great week!

I often wonder how pub names arise. This is an odd one!

i don’t know the origin of the name, but wonder if it’s something to do with the nationality of the owners / managers.
It is a very small pub and apparently is half of a previously larger pub – there was a big fallout and they chopped the pub in two!

Crown and Sugar Loaf? Now that’s an unusual name.

I like Maier’s work and recently saw the documentary about the guy who bought boxes of her photos and helped get them pubbed – and then got sued (is getting sued) byt the family –
but her work is marvelous – and this post connects to her vibe

Love an English pub, especially a ham sandwich!

a lady after my own tastes! Actually, ham, egg and chips is one of my pub faves. And a pint of Sam Smiths Old Brewery 🙂

I was really there to shot dark streets with tripod, but I just had to desert the tripod when I saw these people
