These gins are the work of the only distillery in Shetland, and the most northerly distillery in the UK. The traditional version contains Apple Mint and Bladderwrack Seaweed to give a taste unique to the Shetlands. They also produce a number of flavoured gins, which attracted my camera’s attention. And for Ann Clleves fans, there is even the Wild Fire limited edition, inspired by the final book of her Shetland series.

Now there is me thinking…Scotland, distillery, it must be that famous spirit – but not GIN!!! Seaweed or not 🙂

Gun is faster to produce so not such an investment. But still, I was surprised too.

Never gave that a thought….but with Gin being the ‘fashionable’ drink I guess it makes sense
