St Stephen’s Church, St Albans, April 2020
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Sam here, thankfully. Though I say that now I’m back in my dry house. I wasn’t saying the same when donning waterproofs to go for a walk this morning!

We got rather wet…. Thought we had timed it well, sadly the weather runs on a different clock. 🤔

And I haven’t even been drinking! 🙂 I have to agree with the B&W version looking quite ominous. Mine is quite the opposite. Happy Saturday, Debbie.

The monochrome version is wonderfully gothic, Debbie – instant Wilkie Collins frisson.
Here’s mine. As usual some words crept in too: https://tishfarrell.com/2020/06/06/in-the-evening-sun-lemon-balm/

I thoroughly enjoyed your lemon balm, Tish – both words and image were calming.

It’s my local church and it usually looks so calm and beautiful. The black and white has detected its other side!

If it’s only the eyes, you’re doing well. Better than affecting your sanity!
And Jo’s storks should bring back calm 🙂

Unfortunately I started with the storks, maybe I should go back to chill out a bit!

Yes, they are good to sit and watch with a cup of coffee, I reckon

Nothing like a bit of optimism! If you think I’m climbing one of those chimneys to get at a nest… 😦 😦

It’s like an image through time, Debbie. I like it!
My choice for this week is also about time. Kind of.

Enjoy the weekend! 😀

Yes, using ICM somehow allows the adding of time and atmosphere. It’s like multiple exposures with each one representing a century at least.
Wishing you a great weekend too!

Yes, I’m finding that my ICM images are either extremely happy or extremely dark and spooky. the choice if colour versus monochrome seems to affect them more than a normal image

It can be great fun, and after lot of practice you can aim for a specific look. Whether it works or not, is another matter!
