Ohh, it’s really a busy day on the beach! I bet you had fun there.

Great captures of the reversal. Hope the “busy” at the beach was tongue in cheek. Of course this comes from someone who us used to really busy beaches in Southern Calif. This was a while back, when it was in the 80ties for the first time and the governor decided the beaches should be closed. There was a protest line of 88 thousand people (doing the social distancing!).

This is pretty busy for the muddy sand on the dirty Thames! If they go nearer to the river they sink into the mud 😦

Oh yes. You missed my walking tour on Saturdays’ call. Rachel went into London to meet with friends in one of their gardens. And I got a lift in for my own wander. It was too crowded to be able to relax around South Bank but I enjoyed the empty streets in Soho and a very quiet Oxford Circus. I avoided all the trouble on the streets but when I stopped at Waterloo toilets before meeting up with rachel again, I saw the tidying up. The main entrance to the station was closed and they were sweeping up a lot of broken glass.

How wonderful to get out and explore,, but grrrr re the trouble. Still amazes me some politicians say we not have a racism problem in this country

What a clear sunny day in London, so beautiful! My classmate who’s based there said there’s more rainy days than sunny every year there 🙂 Happy New Week!

I’m not sure that’s true, but it sometimes feel like that! We had a glorious April and May, but June has been a bit greyer, Still not enough rain though. That said, yesterday was beautiful – sum and not too hot, and some beautiful evening light

😀 the tide varies dramatically but there is usually some beach. A lot of people have permits to go down with metal detectors. And in nice weather it’s towels instead! I pop down sometimes as it’s good to get some photos at that angle rather than always peering down. But the gates are often locked and I’m not sure I can clamber over the railings if I get stuck down there!
