Bacon Street royalty returns

Last week I featured a portrait of a long-lived Bacon Street local, Charlie Burns, painted by Jim Vision.

This week I’m sharing a much older edition of the series of tributes to Charlie. The first one was painted in 2011 by street artist Ben Slow, and Ben returned in 2014, I believe, to give us this new one. And it lasted well – I took these photos in 2017.

    • Yes, I did like this one. I think I preferred to the original. There have been another 2 or 3 versions in between this one and the current Jim Vision version. Definitely a wall to keep watching 🙂
