Winter sky, St Albans, December 2020
I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog recently, and slow to visit you all. I’m yo-yoing back and forth between home and my mum as she’s not well at the moment, and both time and lack of internet connectivity are conspiring against me. Apologies for my lack of visits, but I’ll hopefully be back to normal in a couple of weeks.
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Hi! I didn’t see your reply of what to do to add my entry. I don’t think it came into my notices. But never mind ….. better late than never.
I will post my entry as a comment to your SWS next week.
not even sure if this is correct 😦

So sorry about your Mum, Debbie. A ‘hard corner’ for both of you. Everything’s been so hard for carers of the elderly this year. All best wishes to you.

Just make sure you are taking care of yourself with all that is going on with your mum. I know caretakers go through a lot taking care of their loved ones.

I used to participate in Six Word Saturday years ago. I stopped blogging in June of 2016 and have started again to see how it goes. I follow some others that still post SWS. I’m not sure how to begin again….even though your directions are probably quite clear.
I’m not very good at following them.
On my blog you will find a Category list and find the links to my Six Word Saturday. As proof of participation. lol
I might try doing it again …. even if by myself. It was fun.

Hello. And welcome back to the blog world. The 6WS bunch are very friendly and we all happily break most of the six word rules 🙂 the easiest way to join is to copy the URL of your post once it is published and paste it into a comment on my entry. Then everyone will see you and visit you. Happy blogging and I’ll be over to visit you soon.

Thanks Marion. We’ve give up worrying about the virus, to be honest. But mum lives in a tight lockdown area so there’s no escape to a coffee shop, or pub!

Thanks Jo. Loved those colour splashes – wonderful! Every time we think everything is sorted for a good night’s sleep and something new goes wrong. But there can’t be many of those things left to happen!! x

Thanks Su. Age has taken its toll and everything is worn out – except her mind, which goes at double the normal rate now her legs are refusing to work!
