I think the bins are wonderful. It wouldn’t be street art ….. if not on the street with all the street things.
I used to live in a subdivision where you dare not put your bin out practically until the truck comes by. And you better roll it back in practically when the truck comes by. LOL
I suspect most of the residents just hid their trash in the closet.

Yes, the two do go well together. In alleys like this, bins are a permanent feature.
