This week, Nancy has asked us to share something abandoned. This doll was abandoned and lay at the roadside for much of the first UK COVID lockdown. Not the cheeriest of companions for my daily walks.

I love this photo Debbie. Not sure whether I prefer colour or B&W 🙂

More creepy to me than sad, but an effective photo, Debbie.

One of my favourite photos from 2020 – what does that say about the year?!

Again I hark back to Drop he Dead Donkey and the placement of dolls at war-ravaged scenes. It so reminds me of that. They say that all Vietnam war photographers carried a doll in their knapsacks (he habit started there apparently) along with a child’s shoe.

I didn’t know about that.
As it happens, I did add the security tape. I had been taking photos of the doll for a few days and someone suggested an addition!

The color version looks scary. Someone must have missed it dearly. 😀

It was quite scary! Though when you look closely it has a smile.
