It’s the beginning of a new year and time for a look back at some of the street art I spotted in 2020. Some pieces tell us a lot about the year that many of us waved goodbye to with much relief. Many of them leave us marvelling at the artists’ skill, inventiveness and storytelling ability.

It’s amazing how many of these I remember. I loved them all. It’s amazing how much Trump and Johnson look alike in murals. Thanks for this great recap.

What fun to see all of these, Debbie! I always wonder about copyrights, too, and when taking shots with people, about releases, although I have no idea about the status of those these days.

Oh yes, do give it a go. It was very interesting to do, and gave me a better view of the year than I had before ;looking at the photos.

I assume you mean the nightmare 🙂
Though I have to say there were a few that scared me, especially the clown

Gorgeous! You should make a book, as Becky said! Or a poster – I would gladly buy one!

A poster is a good idea, Ann Christine!

I like the poster idea, Ann-Christine. I had been thinking of doing some sets of postcards, but posters might be better.

The trouble is that it’s someone else’s art. Although I blog my photos I never do anything more serious with them. Partly ethics, partly copyright concerns. There are frequent debates about it at camera club.
But you have tempted me to look more deeply into it. Or at least do a book for myself 🙂

I was thinking that just after I hit send – there must be someway, perhaps a street art equivalent of the PRS which exists for music
