Rising with the birds is not part of my normal daily routine, but some places simply demand this early start; I comply and the place gives an appropriate reward. How could you deny the song of the birds when there’s a view like this waiting for you?

Oh yes, bloggers are very good company.
And I was on a photography trip in Cuba so great company there too (and the locals were very welcoming, even to my pigeon Spanish)

I adored Cuba and Havana and Vinales are on my return to list. This view was amazing and worth the walk in the dark.

The people who lived in the little hut at the top gave us coffee to go with our picnic breakfast and the pig kept us company. As you can imagine, we sat up there for a long time, watching the mist dissolve and the sun rise.
