St Albans Cathedral, Hertfordshire, February 2021
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is a new post with a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Not sure how people lose giant scarves like these, though. Especially on a cold day!

It must be one of the new al fresco wardrobes that seem to be becoming the rage, Debbie.
I’m joining in with Six Word Saturday again this week! I’m going with another growing trend: https://wp.me/pVkLb-5iv

Perhaps they were left on purpose to share a bit of warmth for people who are cold. A photo with a story, Debbie.
My neighbor came over for a snack: https://figmentsofadutchess.com/2021/02/27/i-do-love-my-peanut-butter/

I wonder whether the owners will retrace their steps and find the lost items. Your photo reminded me of how some school friends had their mittens attached to a piece of elastic which extended down both sleeves. Ingenious. 🙂

Looks familiar, one glove fence posts abound this time of year in Madison. I’m following the winter theme: https://fakeflamenco.com/2021/02/27/if-a-tree-falls-in-a/

Your picture leaves me with one question. Why? Or maybe two. Who?

Texting with one glove falling out of a pocket perhaps? 🙂

I’d suggest that the hat and scarves could belong to my alien creature but I don’t think it wears gloves:

How do folk only ever lose 1 glove & not both 🤔 Here’s mine: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2021/02/27/winters-sun-bursting-through-snowy-branches/

Maybe they stripped off and went for a swim in the lake!
And I don’t mind being shared

Cathedrals are obviously the best place to lose things. I lost my gloves last week in the grounds of ours while photographing cyclamen and crocus. Passing by the next day … there they still were!

You were lucky! What about attaching those Tile tags to them so that you can trace them? Usually used for suitcases and phones but sounds like you need them, Margaret

I definitely do, though I decline to spend much on them these days. Where are charity shops when you need them?

Or market stalls? 😦

True. But they too are only of the food variety in time of Lockdown.

Not even that here, Margaret. No markets! 😦

I saw your title and then the wonderful photo, which, unfortunately made me think of a photo I had of lost things at a playground. I must apologise for my outlandish play on words (very poorly) of that title. 🙂 🙂

There you are, right on time, and with some found accessories. I just found a wrap left on a bench yesterday during my walk. Weird. Here’s my entry for today:
