This wonderful timbered building, one of the oldest in Hertford, was built around 1450, extended in the early 17th century and extensively restored in 1893.

Click and collect seems so funny in this context, Debs. 🙂 🙂 I don’t mind the building being orange.

Everywhere has click and collect at the moment. Even places without an online ordering system will take orders by phone or by things like Facebook messenger and will arrange to meet you at the store and hand it over, at a distance. Is it happening a lot near you too, Jo?

Not that I know of, Debs! Trading, aside from food and essential items, has ground to a halt here. Crazy! 😦 Not only have I forgotten how to be sociable, I’ve forgotten how to shop too! 😦

I’m the same. I think most of us are becoming less sociable. As for shopping, apart from human food my main purchases these days are books and bird food.

Even the closed sign is “old” and special. Beautiful doors from our namesake city. It is a great combination of old and new.
