Woah! Far out 😌

Looks perfect but for one thing. No shade. I would need a comfy lounger and a good umbrella against the sun, otherwise it looks a delightful spot.

Yes. It was the view from the staircase to my hotel. I think it’s a private patio but never saw anyone on it.

Just had a night in Saltburn – thinking of you. Coffee then heading home.

Awwh! Yarn bombing on the pier? Just collected James from the airport 🤗💕

No. I didn’t see any yarn bombing. If it had been on the pier it would have been washed off by the stormy high tide. No serious damage but there was a lot of sweeping required to return to stones to the beach! Have a wonderful time with James.

Thanks, Debs! It’s a common problem, sadly, at Saltburn.

Yes, I was chatting to one of the blokes sweeping all the stones from promenade to beach the next morning. The evening before an elderly woman got battered by a wave and had to go to hospital. And he was saying how many people sit in their cars facing the waves and get the windscreens smashed by the stones that come in with the waves.
