St Albans, Hertfordshire, December 2022
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

I’m not normally a huge sunburst fan, but it was needed here. And it really captures the feel of yesterday – beautiful, even if my fingers were dropping off!

Yes, I really think you have caught the essence of a crisp, bright parky winter’s day!

That is wonderful square photo Debbie. Square was the only way to go. Ever so good, love the sun rays and the silhouette 🙂

Thanks Brian. Having spent the previous 20 minutes futilelely fighting through tress and sharp bushes to get access to this tree, I found this straight on open view and silhouette it had to be.

That’s the winter I like!
In our area, it’s still undecided if we’ll have a green or white christmas: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/12/17/sun-vs-cold-who-is-winning/

Yes, we’ve had a couple of beautiful, crisp days.
We are producing a green Christmas here as the temperatures rise by Monday.

Same here. I’d have preferred it if the cold had come a week later. But … we made the best of it and went to the Christmas markets this weekend. The hot drinks there just taste better in the cold.

Gorgeous capture! Yesterday it was – 22 C when I left for work. The forecast says milder weather ahead.

Superb shot, Debbie 👏 Love the silhouette & sunburst 😃 Mine’s a similar theme; we’ve just made it above zero for about the first time in two weeks 🥶 https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2022/12/17/frosty-treetops-lit-by-evening-sun/
