  1. Bonjour!!

    Best regards.

  2. We visited Arles in 2017 with my daughter’s in-laws who live in Marseille. Nice mural, goes very well with the old buildings. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Debbie.

  3. Street art of all types is fascinating because it’s so ephemeral. It’s the nature of street art to disappear one way or another, and I think we should embrace that. Even commissioned murals may decay or fall victim to rebuilding around them or even be the target of amateur graffiti makers. I like your sequence showing the variations on this site, which seem to be taking place for positive reasons.

    • Oh, Toulouse is another beauty. I keep meaning to get back there – haven’t been for getting on for 40 years!
Arles is a bit of a distance for a day trip (3 hours on train) or I’d have suggested positioning him at a comfy bar and making a dash for it 🙂 Definitely worth keeping on your list, Jo – if you get there July-September the photo festival is on and you don’t need to be a photography fanatic to enjoy the many exhibitions from around the world.

        • Oh, miseriguts indeed. Canal do Midi is on my list too!
I’m afraid I can’t suggest anything for Toulouse – I was there for work and don’t remember anything specific.
I know Timothy West and Prunella Scales did the Canal du Midi on their Great Canal Journeys series 2. Not sure if they showed anything of Toulouse but maybe the program could tempt miseriguts onto a boat!
