Looks so pink against that sky. Britalist era but the curves and the colour save it.

Yes, it reminds me of modernist architecture. It seems to have been given the name of 1970s Functionalist Architecture.

Certainly not a common colour for apartment blocks 🙂

An unusual color for a building, but it does complement the architecture.

Thanks, Sue. I had read about it but didn’t expect it to be so pink!
And pink and distress combined sounds very appealing – I’m heading over to investigate

A very surprising colour for a block of flats. But it works. A pink collage from me: https://margaret21.com/2026/03/08/pretty-in-pink-3/

I have to say it was pinker than I expected, but I think the sun helped with that

Something about Germans and pink houses, is there? I had planned this post last week already and hadn’t planned to show the whole house but now I kind of have to: https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2026/03/08/pink-shingles/

It took me many visits to Berlin before I discovered this one. And it has been there over 50 years, just waiting for me 🙂
Glad you found some architectural pink too.
