It’s glorious at present. The local botanical gardens have asked locals to NOT visit at peak hours, i.e. around lunchtime, early afternoon and weekends because the plants are suffering. That’s quite something for a botanical garden. Verging on sakura crowds in Japan!

It’s a very small garden, it used to be the private garden of a local “Gründerzeit” industrialist (Edwardian period, that would make it, I guess). It has been open to the public since around the year 2000, it was just a high hedge to me as a child. It’s still privately owned (by the company) but open to the public free of charge on most days.
