Cryptozoology and the Libraffe

The Oxford Dictionary defines cryptozoology as “the search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated, such as the Loch Ness monster and the yeti”.

The Libraffe, a Library crossed with a Giraffe, has been sighted, together with its young, on La Canebière  in Marseille.  Yet its existence is still disputed.

Legend has it that this creature was created for Le Festival des Livres back in 2010.

I will leave you to judge the veracity of these sightings.
