I know how fond you are of thistles, so I thought of you when I came across these beauties in a garden in Wiltshire recently.
My taste in thistles is probably a little different to yours. I admire their statuesque beauty and the shimmer of their purple and silver hues. Whereas I understand you prefer the crunch of the stems and the sweetness of the flowers.
I hope you enjoy my photos. I’ll refrain from divulging the address though, for fear you devour the lot.

The amount of time I have spent trying to rid paddocks of thistles……I would never have thought they would be portrayed so well in a photograph.
