Windows – Ohla la

Barcelona’s windows never fail to impress.

These particular fenestrations belong to a neo-classical building, built on the site of the former palace of the first Count of Barcelona.  Previously a furniture shop, the building was renovated a couple of years ago and is now home to a boutique hotel.  The historical facade contrasts with the modern eyeball-like spheres that adorn it, a sculptural work by artist and sculptor Frederic Amat.
