How’s the learning to love the place coming on – Is Madrid starting to work some magic? I made a very brief visit last week and I like parts if it. There’s too much tacky stuff and a vast number of prostitutes but I walked up from a conference in the Once Foundation in the Atocha area through what seemed like little Africa. I doubted the wisdom of this a couple of times but actually I quite liked the relaxed atmosphere of the area.

People have said that rents in the Atocha area were quite reasonable, so that’s on my list to check out.
