  1. oops, it has to be: at an internat. university. Also, my entry for Up Down View didn’t work out, because my pic had too many pixeis. It’s okay with me if you leave it, I know how that is with travelling, lol!

  2. This is such a typical old Dutch house… of course with a bike in front.! On Thursday you posted Scheveningen – that’s where I lived in the 70ties. Now my son, who was not born back then, lives for the first time in Holland – the Hague -, studying and an international university (where they teach in English, not Dutch)

    • I was in The Hague for 2 days at a conference. I stayed in the business area but managed to find enough time to walk into town and explore a little. It’s a lovely place. And I enjoyed Scheveningen too, despite the wind! Is you son enjoying studying there?

      • It’s a mixed bag. We are Dutch, but when we left he was 2 yrs. old, so culturally seen he feels and acts American. It’s kind of trippy to be Dutch, be in your own country, and feel a foreigner. Being at an internat. university, all his friends are from other countries. He has one Dutch friend, lol! His major is “European Studies” which is a precursor to journalism in grad. work, which I hope he will do, because his gift is in writing.
What kind of conference brought you to the Hague?
