It was dark when I came out of the Jeu de Paume on Sunday evening. Place de la Concorde looked particularly beautiful in its nightclothes and I immediately regretted not having my tripod with me. I took a few steps in the dark – being careful not to trip on the uneven ground (I had fallen and sprained my ankle the day before and one ankle was already heavily bandaged – but that’s another story!) – and managed to make use of the wall along the edge of the Tuileries to get a few shots that hopefully capture the feel and atmosphere.

Debbie, These are gorgeous night shots, and I love them in B&W!
