It’s all too easy to get lost in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar; it has 60 streets and 5,000 shops.
The secret to getting out again after your shopping (other then having a great sense of direction which I don’t have!) is to remember which gate you entered at. They all have a number and if you look up high you’ll find plenty of signs to the exits.

I would love to wander around in here just to see the people and what the shops are offering.

Oh yes it’s quite fascinating! Men drinking tea and chatting. Others carrying carpets.

And they say IKEA is bad for getting out of!

LOL! Ikea O can cope with! The Bazaar didn’t have footprints on the floor.

Something tells me that I would spend a very long time trying to find my way home. Nice image though.

At least there’s plenty of interest while you try to escape!

That sounds like a massive bazaar. So many choices. Love this photo… as if the man with his back to us is looking in a mirror to find his other self.

You’ve been looking up, and they have been looking down. I like your composition and framing, Debbie 🙂

It was very difficult to get good shots in the bazaar but I did quite like this one.

Lucky you; I don’t care for guides 😀

I like a good personal guide – I hate group tours. This guy was a local photographer who showed me places I would never have found. I even met his brother and friends

Oh, that’s a completely different experience. I wouldn’t mind being guided by a particular guide.
