Russian Embassy in Havana, Cuba, November 2016
This Stalinist-style building, designed by Alexander G. Rochegov, opened in the mid-1980s when the relationship between Cuba and the Soviet Union was strong.
The resilient structure still stands out on the Havana skyline, posing with a hint of fading glamour and definitely looking older than its 30 years.

Great shot. Those harsh cubist, concrete monsters sure did seem to clash, not only with the landscape, but with the seeming rhythm of the people.

It does look old. It reminds me of scenery in old SF movies. I love the sky!

The building was enjoying golden hour but in black and white it looks more dramatic. It made me think SF too 😀
