Watery fate

Along the Rhone, Arles, France, August 2017

My first walk along the Rhone this summer was interrupted by closure of the path whilst work was carried out on a beleaguered vessel.

Work continued for a few days, but just as I was leaving, hope seems to have been abandoned.
