
Christopher Columbus statue, Barcelona, August 2018
The Monument a Colom stands at the bottom of the Rambla, with the 40 metre Corinthian column granting Columbus an excellent view out to sea. The bronze explorer clutches a scroll in one hand, whilst pointing out across the ocean with the other, all set for some new discoveries.

Such a dramatic and detailed monument! And then, you get to the top where he’s wearing a jersey!! Love it!
