Bejewelled bird arrives at Kinkao

Drü Egg on the wall of Kinkao, London, April 2019

Just last week, I showed you a stunning, colourful mural on the Kinkao wall on Pedler Street, off Brick Lane. Now, I did mention that the wall is a popular art spot, that changes frequently, and here’s the proof. The pinks and blues of Dan Kitchener changed to the detailed blacks and whites of Drü Egg in late February 2019.

Dominik Rüegg, also known as Drü Egg, lives and works in St.Gallen as a freelance Illustrator, animator and artist. This Swiss artist’s work usually combine landscapes and characters, usually produced spontaneously on site, without previous sketches.

  1. I do prefer the earlier more colourful piece, although this one is great too.
Just like the one I posted, it also gets changed every year. Thanks for contributing Debbie.
