It is always hard to decide

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.

I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.

To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

  1. Oh how much fun using the “before and after” block. Thank you. I do like how you lightened the shadows and brought out the yellow in the last image. The monochrome in the second. Undecided about the first. Please be safe…be well.

  2. Ah, good to know about the new features. I tried the new editor when it first came out and couldn’t see an advantage. For one thing, the gallery didn’t work anymore and I had a couple of other gripes so I switched back. I will give it another try, though.

    • It’s actually a staircase! There’s quite a bit of brutal-style architecture on this part of the South Bank of London, with elements of it painted yellow or red. Usually a buzzing area, with restaurants and bars flowing our onto terraces and roofs, and pop-up bars and eateries down below. Of course, at the moment, they are still closed, and those stairs were blocked off.

      • I don’t often get to the South Bank when I get back to the UK..interesting.
Sorry I also meant the way you showcase your photos from colour to black and white

        • Sorry, from me! That should have been obvious!
It’s a new feature in the block editing, so I had to have a play with it.:) This one is called “image compare” and is really easy – you just add to photos and it does the slider thing for you.
I have found quite a few little bugs in the new editor, but I’m loving the range they have now given us.

        • I’ve been reluctant to use the block as I couldn’t see where to add photos ..I should really have a play round with it ..I hate it when I have no idea how something works 😫

    • I had to play with the new slider tool! But it’s also quite a useful way to review images and decide on edits 🙂
Wishing you a lovely weekend too, Maria

    • Oh, you bring back memories! Needless to say, it was closed last weekend and would have looked very sad if the sun hadn’t been shining on the yellow. I think everything may have been repainted, but couldn’t decide if it was that or just the sun.
