Travel with Intent 
I wonder what will be left once people are somewhat freer to move around. Leadenhall Market was always full of workers grabbing a quick sandwich or drink, maybe seeing people in the restaurants around the first floors of the market. Now they have had no custom to speak of for 15 months, they have furloughed people and their ability to raw profits to raise the exorbitant rents will mane many of them will have to think long and hard about reopening.

I can’t do the purple violet thing either, Jo. And I’m not normally a fan of Leadenhall. This historic market is now full of chain retail like Hobbs and Barbour. But at the moment eating and drinking is taking priority. Works for me!

I walked through it last week, and the place is full of tables and chairs – making the most of people’s desire / need to eat outdoors
