stunning Chihuly! I love his work juxtaposed with nature (hence, real/ethereal – you are so clever!) And I love seeing his work around the world, and how they are set in the site.

Have never seen this piece before – a beautiful and peaceful white in comparison to his brightly colorful ones – love it! Here’s my “real” – thanks for hosting, Deb!

Hi, Deb. My first try at One Word Sunday. Thank you for sharing your post. I have never seen Chihuly’s work in person, though I admire it on my Pinterest saves. Looking forward to the future when I will.
Here’s my post – Ethereal.

I just answered my question–squinted through cataracts and saw Chihuly’s name 🙂 I’m awestruck by his work, he’s from my area (Seattle, WA, USA).

Yes, an incredible artist. I first saw his work in Florida, and there are often a few of his pieces popping up around London. But his huge display at Kew Gardens was phenomenal!

Oh yes, I imagine it was!! I’ve only seen his work on TV documentaries–“phenomenal” is truly the apt description.

Amazing how much delicacy you can create with glass.

Pretty! Are they made of glass? They look fragile.
