I have another odd saying for you today, this time from Portugal: Alimentar um burro a pão-de-ló. This warns us about giving special treatment to those who doesn’t deserve it. Personally, the donkey would win tasty delights every time – they are loving, devoted animals and deserve all the treats we can give.

Yes, it does a lot of good work – rescuing those that are mistreated but also doing a lot of education to improve the lives of working donkeys around the world

So cute!! We saw some donkeys just this weekend at a winery near Tucson. They were cute too but this one is so shaggy. Reminds me of the Highland cattle.

I’m a regular visitor o our Donkey Sanctuary here because I love the donkeys (but they also serve some pretty good cake in the cafeteria! Your animal looks very sad and I want to give him something tasty!
