Walking around Verulam Lake, St Albans, October 2023
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

The reflections are lovely. I hope everyone stayed safe during the downpour over the weekend. We had a quite hairy drive home on Saturday with deep water on the road. My offering is many more than six words about our weekend, and my partners amazing Greek family get together! https://carylbeach.art/2023/10/23/a-memorial-a-reunion-a-return/

yes, it’s a wonderful tree. A great place for shelter in the summer but very wet for the feet in winter

Yes, it’s a bit grey today 😦
But yesterday turned into an afternoon with great light

Oooh, no! winter swimming is not one of my passions

Nor me. Nor anywhere ‘wild’, with British water being in the state it’s in.

Is it the aftermaths of stormy Babette?

No, it’s just a regular event. Fortunately, Babet didn’t hit us very hard in my part of the country

Looks like a bit of island hopping is needed to keep dry. https://alondonmiscellany.wordpress.com/2023/10/21/a-foggy-day-in-london-town-2/

Yes, pats of the path are impassable in winter

Did you go home with a wet dog?

No, I did a detour 🙂 He doesn’t like getting his feet wet. Unless I throw a ball!

Does he do a high step if he steps in water?

Yes. And in the garden he walks the path rather than running down the grass
