Welcome to One Word Sunday, and over to all of you to join the challenge with your own -scape post. You can choose any word ending -scape, perhaps landscape, seascape, cityscape or maybe escape?
To join the challenge, please use pingback by putting a link in your post to the URL of this post, allowing others to have the opportunity to visit and join the challenge. Then come back here and leave us a comment.
If you have any problems with linking via pingback, just add your own URL into your comment.
It also helps us find you in the WordPress Reader, if you use the tags OWS and OneWordSunday. And do feel free to socialise digitally with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS. You’ll find me on Instagram @travel_travel_with_intent and @dsmythphoto
I’m just back from my travels and before I say anything else, I’m sending a BIG thank you to Janet for hosting OWS while I was away. I can see you all had a good time with her tempting words.
I am now busy uploading my Sri Lanka photos and adjusting to British Summer Time. On a less welcoming front, I’ve been greeted by a number of WordPress issues, so apologies if you have difficulties leaving comments or following me. Thankfully, I had pre-scheduled a few posts as I can’t upload any new images at the moment.
Next week’s theme will be fair.
Other forthcoming themes are listed here, and to see previous weeks of this challenge, click here

Your landscape is stunning, I especially like the sun and shadow, and the dark foreground. My ?scape is just the the word “scape.” A “scape” is a leafless stem on a daylily.

Thank you for hosting. Not a classical landscape but here goes anyway. From a trip in March 2014

That’s beautiful, Debbie. Welcome home.
Thanks again for letting me host while you were gone. After scheduling the first post on the wrong Sunday, things got much better and I was grateful for all the support and participation.
