St Stephen’s Churchyard, St Albans, December 2015
This church sits on my walk into town and I often take the very short detour through the graveyard. The mid-December sun managed to create a great selfie, hiding my textures but highlighting those of my surroundings!

I love the thoughts raised above about your spooky shadow tagging along with you. Fascinating! I will never again enter a graveyard on a sunny day without wondering if my shadow is my ancestor? Or all of them? Deliciously spooky! However I really love that gate…..which I meant to comment about!

I’m aiming not to get too spooked by this as I enjoy that part of my walk into town – interesting graves and a change from trudging along a boring pavement
