Hex colour reference: #fce883
A colourful note: yellow comes in many shades and the same applied to the colours in Crayola’s collections. Needless to say, yellow was in the original 1903 set of crayons and still remains. It has changed shade a little and had many alternative names, such as Daffodil, Lemonade and Kansas Yellow Brick Road.
This familiar English colour name came from Old English geolu and geolwe. Hence, English yellow, German gelb, Swedish gul and others.

Picture me shaking my head in bemusement here. I must be tired, but didn’t think of bananas at all. 🙂 Have to get to bed a bit earlier tonight!
