Tintin taking a fall from the walls of Arles, France, August 2016
The famous reporter and adventurer, Tintin, was born in Belgium at the hands of cartoonist Hergé. This well known character makes many appearances on the walls of Brussels, but him and his fellow characters also show up in the south of France, in the city of Arles.

I assume he survived this fall without even disturbing his quiff.

Perhaps Tintin’s fall could be said to be hair raising. This “mural” is a great find.

Oh yes. Very well known. Not necessarily loved though. Especially in his early years when he tended to be racist.
