Work of Cart1 on the Canal d’Ourcq, Paris, July 2018
Cart1 is a French street artist, hailing from Lyon. He is now known around the world for his portrayals of people using excellent free hand spray can skills and shadowing. He enjoys working in black and white, and says he was inspired by science fiction writer Philip K Dick.
This study of some dedicated painters has brought out an obvious love of red, and i see purple is to hand too. This bold mural was created as part of the Ourcq Living Colours Festival in June 2018.

I enjoy the humor in this one; the fantastical figures coming out of the dark to paint a mural. Thanks for the info on the mural artist. Cool to read he liked Philip K. Dick too.

I love how street artist can turn old structural foundations and turn them into incredible pieces of art and then photographers like you capture it and share it with all of us. Great work in all areas.
