A non-festive event in December

The United Kingdom’s General Election last week was the first to be held in December since 1923. Not a relaxing way to head into Christmas. Here are some shots of the streets around Westminster and Downing Street the day after the vote.

    • That depends on how you define democracy – but it was good to see that everyone is allowed to speak (even if not heard) and i was very impressed by the police who controlled a couple of tense situations very calmly.
