For a moment I thought it was painted on the walls and that the peeling paper was part of the mural!

Yes, I see what you mean, Becky. It was definitely real peeling and seems to fit in well with the area, and with the theme of the artwork

How absolutely scary, yet really quite appropriate for this current life we are all living at the moment. I see this also as a metaphor for life being cut short or torn to pieces.

A purist might say that murals have to be PAINTED directly onto walls, not pasted up. I am not a purist and murals to me are a flexible concept. This is a great picture.

Some might, but a huge amount of street art is paste up, more than we ever notice. But I’m glad you like it anyway 🙂
I think it was put up for a street art exhibition of some sort, but can’t find the details
