It is a haven of peace even when the City is in full swing. People stop by, eat their lunch, have a contemplate and then return to their work. A little like some of the churches such as St Olafs at the corner of Seething Lane and Hart Street. Many people walk past but few enter to feel the quiet and calm within.

Yes, we’re very lucky in London – so many little squares and gardens, as well as our large parks. Pleased you know them too

Yes, it’s a little haven in the City. I was taken there on an overnight photo trip, but only viewing it through it raining. It was Sue that introduced me to it during the day. 🙂

I like how the ivy makes it look like the panes of glass are still in the window.

I suddenly realised that it’s very close to Tower Bridge. Was nice to have a quiet wander there. It’s on my list to get back to if get any snow this winter.

Creepy. I can feel the damp ooze into my body. Best viewed in pictures I think,.

I think you’d like it in person. The church was severely damaged n the London blitz and has now been turned into a pleasant garden. Often hired for weddings.
