Wasted Time by Catman, Whitstable, Kent, image taken July 2021
Here’s another piece by Kent- and London-based street artist, Catman. Last week I shared his Superhuman, and this week we have Wasted Time, a piece that he has also painted in Deptford, London. It represents the damage caused by plastic and how slow we are to react.

Both stunning and poignant. what a way to get a message across to those of us who allow plastic to reach our oceans.

I dread to think what our world will be like in 5 years given the amount of environmental awfulness so many of us are experiencing this year 😦

Great mural and great message too. We all need to act, specially at Government levels!
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Debbie.

Great mural. It is apparently very difficult to stop a large rotating flywheel just like that, but it has to be done.

A great image with a persuasive argument.

Nature itself is being quite persuasive at the moment, too 😦

Doesn’t it just – and the worldwide forest fires back his idea of too much time wasted. Sadly

This is a great one Debbie, I find it very interesting when there is a story to go with the mural

There usually is one, but sometimes not as obvious as this one.
