Montalbano is absent from his desk, Scicli, Sicily

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

We know that Salvo is seldom behind his desk but have you thought where Mimi was?

I saw his office, but no Mimi. I’ll share some more photos when I get a chance.

Hi Debbie
I’m very intrigued by your photos this morning, and off to do an internet search, being clueless here.
In the meantime, here’s my 6WS offering:

Ah! You’ve done what I’ve wanted to do and nearly did. A friend and I had actually booked to stay in the house but she had a stroke just before we were to travel and she never travelled again. She was the only one of my friends who was a big Montalbano fan so it was no use going with anyone else who wouldn’t feel the vibes. Thank you for a lovely surprise and a great photograph.

Shame….and I’ve never made it there either!

I didn’t get to the house – too far away without a car. So I can’t show you that or his beach. But I’ll show more of Scicli and Ragusa, where a lot of the filming takes place.

I am so envious of you – shame you didn’t bump into him though. Did you get to visit his favourite restaurant?

He was probably eating! Or maybe swimming! In fact, none of them were there, just empty desks ☹️

Well, Vigata doesn’t exist, so that might be why!!

Indeed. Vigata is rather spread out, with quite a bit in Ragusa, and Salvo’s house is, needless to say, on the coast and was too difficult for me to get to in my limited time.

Ah, I didn’t realise Ragusa was used as well as a place beginning with M on the coast

Puzzling 🙂 Had to do a quick google-search on the name. I have note seen that series, maybe something to do this autumn.

Yea, so watch or read at least some of them. I like watching because I enjoy hearing the Italian.
