Ah! You’ve done what I’ve wanted to do and nearly did. A friend and I had actually booked to stay in the house but she had a stroke just before we were to travel and she never travelled again. She was the only one of my friends who was a big Montalbano fan so it was no use going with anyone else who wouldn’t feel the vibes. Thank you for a lovely surprise and a great photograph.

I didn’t get to the house – too far away without a car. So I can’t show you that or his beach. But I’ll show more of Scicli and Ragusa, where a lot of the filming takes place.

Well, Vigata doesn’t exist, so that might be why!!

Indeed. Vigata is rather spread out, with quite a bit in Ragusa, and Salvo’s house is, needless to say, on the coast and was too difficult for me to get to in my limited time.
