  2. Isn’t it amazing how many reproductions of Frida there are around these days. Since Christmas I’ve had two cushions, a mug, a ‘heritage’ plate, a tea-towel and a notebook, all decorated with the instantly recognizable face of Frida. Maybe that’s why there is so much of it around.

    • I think her bright and easily recognisable appearance helps. I also think her life and the issues she dealt with fit well with life these days – she broke rules and fought both health issues and disapproval of lifestyle and opinions.
