This was stunning. I was really amazed at that face and the detail involved. I was definitely impressed.

Yes, seemingly simple but so much feeling

It’s a beautiful mural Debbie, amazing how some artists can paint a face with cans of paint. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals.

Yes, I was so pleased he stood facing the same direction as the portrait. Probably because he was trying to avoid my camera

Crikey, some people are very clever aren’t they – if I tried to dribble and scribble with paint I’d have an almighty mess!

And mine would be dribbled and scribbled even if I didn’t try! đ

Another good artist and I think this woman appears in a lot of his art

You have so many great murals with people either walking past of loitering with intent beside them that I have this vision of you trawling the streets and dragging suitable looking punters into shot! Tell me they are just passers-by!

Yes, just passers-by. This was just luck. Sometimes I hang around near some appealing art and wait for a suitable passer by

Glad you like it Aletta. I think it is an excellent mural – there seems to be a lot of emotion in those eyes.

Yes, very clever use of dribble. And it seems to have been respected by locals as it’s stayed intact since 2015

I didn’t see much of it, but they have certainly been trying, and attracted some international artists for their festivals. But I don’t think they’ve had a festival for a while, as the pieces I found were all from a few years back.
