Entrancing that it changes colour. Christmas lighting is so nice – especially against the old buildings – was it just the three different colours?

Pretty much all colours with shades in between. There were a lot of these trees around Lisbon and porto. They don’t look so exciting in the day, but are wonderful at night. And some are set so you can walk inside.

Lovely! We have a similar style of tree here in Tavira, but not the scope for reflections.

Yes, they seem popular in Spain and Portugal. We still go for the real ones – but did you see the state of the Trafalgar Square tree this year? – rather battered. Though I haven’t seen it in person.

No. Storm damage? If I’m lucky I’ll get a glimpse at New Year but plans here for NYD are a bit sketchy. Walking, and lunching, of course 🎅🌲🥂💗
