Honey bees at work in Belfast

Bee hives on the roof at Victoria Square, Belfast, Northern Ireland, December 2022

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.

I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.

To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

  1. Look close people. Its not just a mural, there are actual Bee Boxes in Ireland. I always wondered Why countries like Scotland and Iceland don’t foster Biodynamic Ecologies like support Honeys Bees in their countries. At least Ireland is ahead of the curve. • That is a little harsh. I don’t know about Iceland but Scotland is making some effort. There are a number of beekeepers and there are beehives at Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. But we all need to do more, for sure.

      • Debbie,
We offered via The Green Party in Scotland and contacted The EDC Board with an offer from us of $128 ml (usd) investment for Ecological Research including Beehives plus 200+Jobs. Turned Down Flat. I conducted the 5 year research with The United Nations Agricultural Office on Rebuilding Soil Ecologies.
We are now working with Beijing and Egypt for sustainable agriculture.
