This Woman, a work by the American urban artist duo JBAK, looks down on a cemetery on Turiner Strasse. James Bullough and Addison Karl were the JBAK artists, originally from Baltimore and Seattle, but living and working in Berlin. They had their own individual artistic styles but worked to gather to create large murals that “give people a reason to look up, around, and beyond themselves”. They ended their partnership in 2013 but still produce their own works around the world.
