Hand made mattresses in northern Vietnam, September 2017
The potential comfort of these mattresses called to me after my previous night on a very hard mattress. They are the creation of some very hard-working, talented and charming women.

I am quite late, but still, I am trying to add my post here too somehow, with my season’s colorful shapes… and a colorful sorry for being so late. Thank you, Debbie, and I loved the red hand-made mattresses a lot, the floral patterns too… shape, color and pattern, texture as well, very nice combination! 🙂 https://doarnicol.wordpress.com/2017/12/24/winter-quotograph-and-seasons-happy-shapes/

For a moment I felt for them, but the next I was glad they had a job, so they would have food and hopefully a roof over their head. Thanks for hosting and have a great Sunday (hopefully not too cold!

They may have enjoyed this more than harvesting the rice – they certainly got plenty of compliments from visitors to the village.
And thank you for your Christmas shape for this week.
